I know most of the comments here are about late model Mustangs. That being said I'd love for some input on head unit placement for a 1968 with a center console and factory ac. Some are mounting in the glove compartment, however, with the factory ac there doesn't seem to be enough space. Cutting the dash or console is out of the question, so where to mount? The head unit is a Clarion pro audio DXZ845mz that I was able to get for half-price. The car is getting some modern touches without going crazy. The interior for sound purposes will be given a coat os secondskin spectrum v.2. Thanks for the input.
