Your car looks AWESOME man. That the best looking Mustang around. I want to get a hood like that too. Thanks for posting!

p.s. Did it take you alot of trial and error to get it to that point? I mean, How did you decide on the rims/springs/etc? I sold my "c" springs and they looked better than my pro's. Problemwas it won't clear me driveway. O' well...

Damn that thing looks wickid. I might have to go and cut a coil off of my Steeda springs to get a stance like that!

Amazing! I love muscular stangs like that, and your taste in aftermarket parts is impeccable Mike!

I can't quite make it out - is that a front plate behind the front bumper facade?

Thanks all! :SNSign: That's a pretty sweet photochop too, Im saving that one.

Here's the story on the front plate, which IMO proves that cops target sports cars and such more than anyone else....So I've been driving since '98, and only one car out the 5 I had owned(at the time) had a front plate on it. After close to 100K or more miles of driving(50K in my stang), I get pulled over for no plate 3 days after getting my car painted 2 years ago.

I was on my way home after work, driving around 3mph under the speed limit, when I passed a cop that had someone allready pulled over on the other side of the road. I get about a mile down the road and look in my rearview to see that same cop flying up behind me, lights going, passing cars in the no passing zone, probably going 60+ in a 45 zone, just to give me a warning for no front plate. I asked him if it was ok to mount the plate behind the bumper, and he said it was as long as they could read it there.

This was on a wednesday, so I thought I would be safe to wait until the weekend to install the plate(the cop did tell me to take my time to make sure it looked good)....NOPE!...Friday evening Im driving home again, again going 43-45mph, and the same cop pulls me over for the same reason!

They havn't bothered me since I put it on there tho (knock on wood)

I went through lots of trial and error in my head before buying the parts. I bought the springs without doing any research, they just looked like the best ones in the Summit catalog. I've wanted DD Bullitt's since Ford released the original Bullitt wheels(which I had on the car for while). I spent countless hours deciding what body parts to go with. It usually takes me a long time to save enough money to buy the parts I want, so I have a lot of time to decide on exactly what I want.

I do think the car is too low now for a lot of places around here, so Im going to get coil overs one of these day so I can adjust the ride height when I need to.

As much as I would like a new project(especially a turbo one ), I don't think I could get rid of my car. How is your project coming along btw?

wytstang, I don't have anything to compare the Hotchkis plates to other than stock. I do like them tho, the car seemed to handle a little better after I installed them, plus they're shiney.

88ssp, Im in Newport, about 10 miles outside of Marietta.
