Cleaning calipers?

I have the front calipers out while I'm redoing the front suspension and was thinking about cleaning them, maybe even painting them.

Any tips, tricks and ideas on the subject?

On another board, I was told to use brake cleaner and a bristle brush if they are really dirty or windex and cloth if not too bad to prep them. And DupliColor hi-temp paint.

Anybody else?

Ash,, Just give them to me, I will glass bead blast them, and powder coat them for you . . Bee

I used a stiff wire brush on a grinder. If you want them smooth sand them with a rotary.

What's up man, long time no see! How much to beadblast? I'll probably just paint them, as I'd like to upgrade even past these at some future point.
