Well I changed the oil in the Stang today and I 'll put the Ponies on and go for a quick spin (need new tires). Give her a wash and a wax ... put on some 2.3 fender emblems!
Post some pics of your cars with 2.3 emblems. I did a search but a bunch were red x's. And did you just measure x inches from the end of the fender and put them there or what? Thanks!

Well it looks like the responses are flooding in Teal

I think if you look at enough 5.0's and just eye it you should be ok. Just don't get it too high or too low. Once you get one on, then you can measure off it for the other side. You could also use electrical tape to hold them on the side while u look at it and then use the tape so you can make sure you have them straight horizontally for mounting. You'll do fine. I have the 94 pony emblems on mine so there is no room for the 2.3. Besides I have the sleeper look, no exhaust pipes visible from the rear of the car. Good Luck!!!

Thanks for the reply. I'll get to it when it stops raining here, which may not be for a while! But really, what's so sleeper about an N/A 2.3.

Maybe sleeper is not the correct word, but if you look at my car, you don't know what engine it has without doing some noseing around closer. A true stang officianado would know, but not the others.

Got ya. My brother says the same about mine, but I don't really think so. Hopefully Pony wheels will change that. He laughs though because everytime I pull in the driveway he looks for a Honda or a Toyota (because of the exhaust). I shut him up with the idle though.

The last owner of my stang put 2.3 emblem on it, and removed them before selling it, it still have the mark on the fenders, do you want me to mesure it?

where you get the emblems from? I got me a set from a freind on here. ;-)

I have turbo badges on mine where the 5.0 or 2.3 would go right now. looks good to.
you can kinda see it here. I just eyeballed one side then measured from the door jam to the emb and from the moulding to the emb to get the other side on.

Your better than I am. Whenever I get something for the stang, I have to get it put on in no less than 24 hrs.

I wouldn't say it's better to wait 7 months! LoL, it was cold over winter break and garage space was tight so I neglected it. Then I really forgot about it. I'll have them on before I go back to school.
