Hello eveyone. Going to use 185 AFR small valve as cast heads with F303 cam. Anyone running this combo and will I have clearance (VP) issues? Using stock 302 block stock piston with stock valve reliefs
What vehicle did the motor come out of and what yesr? This will determine the pistons which helps with potentially telling you if there will be interference issues.
As 86HO5.0 pointed out claying the motor is the absolute best way to know.
Looks like those heads were designed to clear, but you always have to check.
I also would not be using those heads with an F cam.
Only do this once, use a custom cam with them. It's not like you are using a $200 set of gt40p heads.
