Clearancing Control Arms

Son of a Bitch. Now I'm having to clearance the ball joint side of the control arms because they are rubbing on the brakes. I guess no one has ever run Aerospace Brakes with X2 ball joints. It's either that, or put stock ball joints back in, and count my losses on the $125 ball joints. Anyone have any idea how much metal I can cut away there and still have a control arm strong enough?

I'd say a good quarter inch. I'll have to attach some pics later. But it will take me awhile. I'll be out of town for the next few weeks.
