Cleveland Intake?

Blue Thunder is currently beleived by many to be the best intake on the market for the 351c.

I would run one, but I have no room under my hood so I am using the 4v Xcelerator which iis makes power (going up) in my stroker untill I shut down at 7k on the dyno

I spend all my free time reading Cleveland forums, and what I've seen is the Weiand X-celerator for street use comes up most often. This is for either 2V or 4V heads.

IIRC, Parker has a funnel web 2 that is supposed to be better than the original. There also are some competing tunnel rams that people speak highly of. Sorry I don't remember the names.

It really depends which heads you're talking about; theres a MUCH better intake selection for the 4Vs. The ones I know off the top of my head are:

4V: Edelbrock Performer & Torker, Weiand X-CELerator, the BT intake, the Parker Funnelweb, the Strip Dominator, and probably a few more Aussies I can't remember.

2V: Edelbrock Performer, Weiand X-CELerator, and the Parker Funnelweb

Now, as far as my opinion goes (and we all know what they say about opinions), if I were doing a mild to medium 4V motor on a budget, I'd go Torker. A little more money on the same motor I'd go BT. On a wild motor, I'd go with the Parker (which requires port stuffers added to the heads to get the intake track to all line up) or a now-obsolete Strip Dominator. I'm using 2V heads though; I'd LIKE to use the Funnelweb, but it doesn't fit under my hood I figure. So I'll be using a Weiand.

Somewhere in there, the Street Dominator also fits in. IIRC, it was for the 2V motors, but I don't remember... I do know it was a small runner single plane.

I will probably do some repeating of other's opinions...
For very high ouput engines, the Holley pn# 300-13 has long shown to be the absolute best 4v intake. I have never seen it compared to the FW though... They look alike except, as usual, the Holley version has extra bumps, knots, and bosses cast all over it. Holley has always make great intakes, but they are always the ugliest too.
From the pic I see the FW has a small plenum compared to the SD. Smaller port runners too. I suppose this would make it milder than the Holley.
IMO it, Funnelweb, looks like a Torker that has a runner cooling valley.

4V:
Street: Wieand X-Cellerator
Street/strip: Torker
Strip: Holley Strip Dominator
(Possibly Funnelweb, never had one...)
2V:
Wieand X-Cellerator or Holley Street Dominator
Strip only would probably use Funnelweb. Again, I don't know about this intake.
