Since my throwout bearing has been chirping on my '02 GT like a crazy little bird I have become acutely aware of all other strange noises.
We have a parking garage at work so I can hear noises that I probably wouldn't during normal driving. I noticed that there is a fairly pronounced clicking noise when I was turning right in the parking garage. It sounded like it was coming from one of the driver's side wheelwells, probably the front though I couldn't exactly tell which. When I leave today I'll try to listen if it makes the noise when I turn left.
Anyways, the noise appears to only happen when I am turning and is definately in time with the rotation of the wheels. I was not applying the brakes when I was turning and I was going pretty slow (5-10mph).
Anyone have an idea as to what may be the cause? I'm thinking maybe wheel bearing, loose lugnuts, or something with the brakes but I really don't know. I'll probably end up taking it back into the dealer under warranty to check for that as well as the TOB chirping (yet again!) but I'd like to have an idea before I go. TIA
