Whenever I am backing out of my driveway or a parking spot, and have the wheel at full turn I can hear and feel a sort of clunking. Anyone have any idea what it rubbing/hitting that is making this noise? Is this something I should really be worried about?

lug nuts are fine. How could it be the rears? the noise/feel only occurs when the steering wheel is at full turn in either direction, I can definitly tell its up front somewhere, just no clue what the heck is causing it.

not normal. different people have had different sounds from the front end and different fixes. mine was making a clunk when backing up after sitting all night and turning the wheel back and forth while backing up.

the bolts that hold the rack and pinion to the frame/uni-body were replaced under warranty to solve it.

Some other people have had their wheel bearings replace and some other people have had the "K" member re-torqued.

So it depends on where the noise is coming from to what the fix is.
