I have been hearing a clunk coming from my rear. It started about a week ago. It's especially noticable when I shift from 1st to 2nd or when I shift from neutral to 1st.
I shut the car off and put it in neutral, slid under the car and twisted the driveshaft back and forth by hand. It will twist about 1/8-1/4 inch in the rear.
I had a 3.73 installed a few months ago. I did a search and found a few possible causes but I figured I'd see if you guys think it's the rear-end before I start chasing noises through my suspension. I have heard of someone's pinion nut coming loose, could it be this?
