Clunking sound

I just installed an Eibach Pro-kit spring and KYB strut on the driver's side of the car. I have only ONE corner done. In the process, I installed urethane spring isolators and replaced wheel bearings. When I drive around, I can sometimes hear a clunk. As I am driving... I brake, start to turn the wheel, and then relieve pressure off the brake, I then hear the clunk. My ball joints used to do this, but less rarely. I have since had my BJs replaced. I don't know what it could be, does anyone have any ideas? I feel as though it could be anything, since I screwed with everything. I made sure everything was nice and tight though. My car has a crazy lean now lol, since I have only one corner (somewhat) complete.

So... has anyone had a problem like this with a lowered car.

I do have a theory though... I took the sway bar end link off the corner that I worked on, but left the end link attached on the other corner. Since the bar is not attached on one side, maybe it is hitting something when I turn??

Sorry for the long post.

I just lowered my car with the sportline kit. replaced the driver side baljoint and tie rod end and it does the same thing.. I hear a clunk when im slowing and going to turn.. any answers?

Holy **** it happens to you too?? I thought I would be the only one. I am thinking that it is a binding problem, since the car is lower... tie rod? ball joint? A-arm bushings?

I know that the lowered corner is going to rise slightly when I get the other corners done, so maybe it will go away then.

Well I have the sportline kit. When i first got my car there was a clunk on the passenger side (before it was lowered). When I put on the sportline kit it progressivly got worse. I replaced my outer tierods and ends and it went away. Also did you install CC plates or get a Camber bolt kit when installed the springs?

Camber Bolt kits are the cheap alternitive to CC plates. But they have a limited range of adjustment. + or - 2 deg. I was able to get away with one of these kits when I had the car aligned. They are around $20 each kit (1 kit per side, I only needed one) from Napa Auto Parts.

sway bar links can make one hell of a noise if you have bad bushings in there...and as you said it could be your ball joints, but it's hard telling if you changed out a bunch of suspension parts...i would retrace your steps, and double check everything, i'm sure it will jump out at ya...good luck
