Quick question here.

I just noticed the last week or so that my clutch has become more "grabby". It's not slipping at all and the fully engaged point has not changed at all, but the zone where the clutch is slipping to fully engaged has gotten smaller. I notice i need to finesse it a little more to have a smooth launch.

If i let it up too quick, it instantly grabs all the way and bogs off the line. There's less room to slip it for a smooth start

I tried testing it out to make sure it wasn't slipping, but 4th gear WOT held fine and a launch from a dead stop resulting in the clutch grabbing too hard and me spinning both rear tires up.

Honestly, it's annoying as hell because I need to pay attention more. ANyone else ever have something similar happen??

Yes i have a firewall adjuster in, but like i said the engagement point and fully engaged point hasn't changed. It just grabs more. It's getting annoying.

StangGT97, i noticed that it all started once the temps started to drop off. Maybe the weather has something to do with it?

that is what I was thinking too... I mean the clutch slips more when it's hot so maybe cooler ambient temps help the bite. It is annoying though, I look like a total n00b when it grabs too hard on me lol

Hmmmm... I might suggest installing a Kenne Bell... that'll keep the clutch from grabbing.

Ha, same here. I actually almost stalled it today. Hopefully I get used to it over the next few weeks.

The clutch has probably been overheated. SOMETIMES, this will correct itself if the clutch is used normally without overheating due to slippage under power.

Funny you mention this, because it just got cold here (to us texans 50 deg is cold, LOL) but i noticed the exact same thing on my car. All of a sudden this week, my clutch engages the same way and it is annoying because i end up with really jerky starts at stoplights because i'm not used to it. It must have something to do with the outside temps.
