Ok, I just got my clutch and flywheel(Mcleod Stage 2 & SPEC aluminum flywheel) install the other day by ford. First, let me say that the clutch is a thing of beauty, the feel of it is so nice.
. now the noises I am hearing.
1. When I push in the clutch, pic a robot moving a arm and the sound that makes. this is what it sounds like. its not to loud, but noticeable and happens everytime I push the clutch pedal.
2. when I'm driving, in 3rd and 4th gear below about 2200-2300rpm there is a loud noise that comes from the tranny, almost sounds like its coming from where the shifter is, thats where I hear it. It goes away after I reach 2200ish rpms. From around 1600 up to 2200 rpms the noise gets louder depending on how hard I stomp on it. If i keep the throttle steady the noise is steady.
Any ideas on what it can be, is it just breaking in or what..
. Thanks for the help guys.
