bolt end goes onto clutch fork on driver's side of the transmission. follow the cable down and you will see where it goes into a cover...take out the bolt and you'll have everything fall into place from there.

the other end hooks onto your quadrant (should be directly above accelerator pedal)

ok, i know it goes onto the quadrant, but the new cable only has about 8 inches of cable out the end of the tube on the quadrant side. Is the quadrant that close to the firewall?

you have to trim the plastic tabs off the cable for the FWA to fit. look on MM&FF's website, they had an article 9/03 about the install....8" should be just about right to reach the quad
