clutch cable problems

My clutch engages when i move my foot/pedal a half inch off the floor board, the car goes into gear fine, but it feels weird....this randomly happened after not driving the car for a week... so how do i adjust this??

Well, where was the adjustment before? Do you have the stock quadrant and pawl?

only way to adjust the factory clutch is to pull up on it as far as you can (you should then hear a "click" which'll be pretty loud), then depress it all the way down, repeat if desired, hehehe.
