clutch cable question

i just put a adjustable clutch cable on, i was wondering do i tighten it now? or do i tighten it later on when the clutch is more worn? is tightening it now affective?

You need to make the initial adjustment. If you do not have a FWA, you get under the car and adjust it at the clutch fork. The adjuster nut is used to remove slack and then a lock nut holds the adjustment.

alright thanks for the advice, when i adjust it, will it change the difference of pushing in the clutch at all?

It can change the point of engagement but should not affect pedal effort.
