Clutch cable replacement part

Can anyone verify if this is a DIRECT replacement clutch cable? I want to buy a FORD cable as I've had bad luck with the autozone/advance specials...

forgot to add, I'm talking about direct replacement for 87-93 mustang, I'm using that type of setup. thanks

looks it... I just went to the local ford dealership. It comes with a new cable and oem plastic quadrant for about 40 bucks. It was like night and day changing out a stretched cable.

i used to fight the cheap part store cables also. i grabbed an adjustable FRPP clutch cable and it works SUPER.

uhhh yea get the good stuff. I had a cheap-o cable and it broke after 5000 miles when i was power shifting into second, which could have been bad but I let off the throttle fast enough

Well I tried two area Ford dealers... I'm sure this is the similar one now due to the similarity in part numbers... I would have bought from either of them on the spot if it wasn't for the $$ they wanted ($68/$84) I'll save my money and buy the same Ford part from JEGs
