I'm gonna say no. I still have the stock cable and quadrant in my car. I did the reverse of what you did and replaced the stock clutch with a DF Centerforce. No cable length issues here. Check to see if you have a firewall adjuster. If not, then something else is amiss.

It just doesn't make much sense that changing your clutch should have that much effect. I have to wonder where the extra space came from. Hmmmmm.
