I just installed my new Promotion Custom clutch and a fidanza aluminum flywheel. Now my clutch engages when the pedal is really close to the floor. Is there anyway to make it engage back at the stock height? Thanks and God Bless! Andrew
Is this one of the clutch kits where guys have to screw with the lever and pivot? There's one flavor of kit I'm thinkin of (but I can't remember which it is) where this is done. Just something for folks to say yes to or shoot down.
Check the slack at your quadrant (under the dash by the brake pedal) and inspect the teeth on it. Could be its worn in which case you should get the aftermarket quadrant and FWA.
The quadrant will physically move the catch point, get one with two or three settings. This will make the biggest difference. However, I would never put another adjustable quadrant or cable in my car, as I've had terrible experiences in the past.
