A lot of clutches have came out since I last had to do one for a mustang. I still have the stock clutch on my car but im going to replace it once I get back from Iraq when I put on the Charger. Im looking at either centerforce or a Spec mabe ACT but havent heard alot of them. With the followings mods which one would be the better choice? Only new mod was a Boral Cat back the rest is still the same. Thanks

First off, thanks for helping us out in Iraq, I had a firefighter friend killed in 9/11 and I appreciate all the work you guys do. Don't believe all the press crap. those of us who have been around know better, Stay safe, and thanks again.
I just replaced my stock clutch/flywheel in my 99 Gt wit the Fidanza aluminum flywheel and and "kevlar" Ford motorsports clutch upgrade in 10.5 inch. Tha car has a KB blower on it and puts out 342rwhp. I was a little surprised that the flywheel didn't make a bigger difference but I believe that on a normally aspirated engine, you would see a bigger difference. The reason for not having monster power numbers is that the car gets driven on trips of over 500 miles throught he smokie mountains and I wanted somethign funt o drive, not a project car. I think it's a good combination especially considerring the cost.

I have the Centerforce… So far, it works out great. I believe that Centerforce Performance Parts are one of those good parts in the market these days. Most of my friends have it as well.

I know theres alot of "you get what you pay for" guys here, but any thoughts on that. haven't installed yet, still waiting on motor.

I have the zoom kevlar clutch and it seems to do very well even on slicks and nitrous.
