Clutch Fork and Cable install

I have three questions about a clutch cable install. I was just wondering if there is a bolt of some sort to put on the end of the clutch cable to hold it in the fork? There are no threads on the stock Ford cable, unlike the UPR I had on there. After my cable frayed, I noticed my triple hook quadrant slides side to side on the shaft that's attached to the clutch pedal, is this OK? Also, will I be able to use my UPR triple hook quadrant with the stock Ford firewall bracket and still be able to adjust the clutch?
