i just got this 94 gt like 2 weeks ago, and i finaly got used to the clutch. the clutch is real hard to push down and is very stiff. but it grabs too high! does it need to be adjusted? yesterday i was in a parking lot and i decided to dump the clutch, so i dumped it at 3k and nothing happened! i got no screeching tires at all! it just kinda took off but not that quick. what is wrong with it? thanks

i don't know about your peeling out problem, but its always a good idea to get an aftermarket clutch setup. like UPR's system with a clutch quadrant, firewall adjuster, and cable. allows to adjust the travel of the clutch. steeda's is good too.

Sounds to me like the clutch is worn out. Maybe it's time for a clutch quadrant, firewall adjuster, cable, and a new clutch. SPEC Stage II?

the grabbing too high part is just an adjustment issue. as far as the peeling out thing, did you smell the clutch at all after that? the clutch is either not engaging all the way (adjustment issue again), or it is worn. when you get on it while you are moving, does it feel like it is slipping at all?
