Clutch help-!

Alright- so me and a friend replaced the clutch on my 88 GT with a T5-
We put a new clutch cable as well. I drove it home from his house and almost got home- then i heard what i think- was a ratlling like the quadrant adjsuted, now it wont go into gear at all and its easy to take the cluthc cabel off the clutch fork with ease, do u think the quad is broke please help any ideas

is it an adjustable cable? if so then you need to tighten it again.

Charles is right on. if the whole range of motion on the pedal is easy, and you put a heavy duty clutch in it and you have the stock quadrant, you probably toasted it. should be easy to tell upon closer examination. you could have broken the cable too.
