I just recently install a factory replacement clutch disk & pressure plate on my 99 Cobra and now I can't get into 2nd or 4th grear. It will go into 1st, 3rd, 5th & reverse. Any ideas on what could be the problem? What type of Fluid should I be using? Any help would be appreciated.
Warped flywheel. You should always have the flywheel resurfaced when changing the clutch. (You didnt mention doing that). Chances are, your new PP is now warped also and your new disc has heat spots.
Of course this is assuming you didnt have other syncro issues before the clutch change thinking the clutch woould fix it.
