Clutch install??

Well i got my clutch today without no fly wheel(sucks). But im kinda lost on the parts i got. What goes first and stuff??? I got this kit------ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...RK:MEWN:IT&viewitem=&item=280078534478&rd=1,1


How do you tell from a real king cobra and a fake??? If i dont get the flywheel today i wont be able to install it till I get from Mexico which is like in 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!! sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!

you have to get rid of the ,1 and then it will work


I thought you were going t-56 and doesnt that kit fit t-5, and t-45 i'm not sure about it fitting a t-56

Links works now.

And the t-56 im getting uses a stock clutch that we use, the viper spec uses a whole different clutch

Hey bud, get with Danny (Wytstang). IIRC, he got the same clutch from the same vendor and had a couple of long threads about it. He posted some good info and is whom I'd go to if needing the low-down.

It's just a standard kit with a Pilot bearing too. I assume the T56 input shaft has the same OD as a T5. You might want to do a RMS and will obviously be playing around with your fork and pivot.

Reactive megacapacitive selector. C'mon, I know you know what that is. It's important for a clutch - be sure to get one.




























































Ok ok, Rear Main Seal. Replace yours if needed (I cant remember the status of yours but thought you had plans to replace it during the trans swap).

Oops brain fart.....I looked at it and it seems fine. But so how does the clutch install?

were exactly are the tob and pilot bearing? I dont remember taking any out?

throw out bearing is on the clutch fork.

pilot bearing is in the back of the crank, where the input shaft of the trans goes

Guero, check the useful article sticky. David (5 spd GT) put his own write-up on there, as well as a link with info and pictures. Those might be helpful.
