So is there a mod to do to use a adjustable clutch cable on the 2.3 engine/trans. I have a convertible (v8) that i recently pulled the motor and trans to put in my recently bought coupe. Well i'm having issues with the clutch now that i've put the 2.3l in the convertible. I had replaced the quadrant with a steeda i believe prior when it was a 5.0. The clutch pedal went to the floor with no engagement. I had a firewall adjuster laying around and was able to get the pedal to engage but its almost at the very top of the pedal and hard to drive that way.
The 2.3 was in the coupe from the previous owner without a transmission but he left the clutch cable which was a adjustable cable so i assume there is way to make this work. It also had a quadrant installed. I just can't figure out how to connect it to the 2.3l trans with the adjustable cable and i'm not on speaking terms with the PO
