Clutch just replaced, now car seems slower????

Ok, so just like the title says, I get back in after having the clutch replaced, along with the flywheel, rear main seal, pressure plate, TOB, and pilot bearing. Anyways, for some reason, it just seems slower. Is this just psycho-somatic or can this be an need to let the clutch break in? I didnt think that would have anything to do with whether the car is faster or slower once the gear is engaged. Either way, I am very disappointed and confused

if it was a new flywheel it may have some of the rust prevention oil on it causing it to slip a little. you should give the clutch atlest 25 stop and goes before it seats good. if neither of these are the problem youre new flywheel might be the wrong one(heavier=less accelaration).

no, i dont think so, it pulled much harder than it does now. Also, i know a heavier flywheel causes power loss to the wheels, but i dont think it would be this much. WHat about break in?

The disk could still be gassing, and the flywheel bedding in as well. Just like if you put new brake pads and rotors on the car and before the burnishing period is up (while gassing is occuring), the performance will seem lackluster. Once burnished, it gets better.
