my clutch keeps stickin off and on.when clutch is out im make a loud knocking noise n when u push it in a little it quiets down. it feels funny most all the time now. it is a 2000 gt with only 32000 miles.
what do you mean by pushing it in a little? does that mean you fully begin to depress and disengage the clutch or you just push the clutch pedal enough to get some slack outta of it?

It will stop making noise when you disengage the clutch but after a while it will mae noise all the time. You can try some lithium grease and see if that helps.
it could be a throw out bearing but i have had it where the clutch fork pivot ball has backed out and the clutch fork hits the clutch its self. when this happend to me the sound would go away if i pushed in the clutch but come back when i relised it. i would crall under there and take off the inspection window and have a look. with the car on i could see sparks coming out.
like everyone else says, check your TOB, but also try adjusting your clutch cable, dunno if you have an adjuster or the stock pedal setup. something small you could try before rippin your tranny off.
Agreed, there a lot of great clutch kits out there and almost all of them are more responsive than the stock clutch. I just put a Spec 3 in mine and the guys here gave me some advice that was a life saver on the removal and installation. If you wind up doing it yourself and you get stuck or want some help with it let me know!
dittos - and I'd invest in a new OEM clutch cable, regardless of the miles, it's still 8 years old. A bad, sticking clutch cable will make it feel funny (for lack of a better term), heavy, sticky...been there...
if you have over 30k miles on it and its a 99 or newer, chances are you should put a new clutch in her. They are notorious for taking a dump around 36k miles
EDIT: I just read the rest of your first post. so yeah, replace it. Happend to me too around that time
