I am going to convert my car back to a manual transmission. I have found a clutch pedal assembly out of a 1969 fastback....would this work in my 1970 Mach 1? They both came with manual brakes. Please let me know asap. Thanks.

all you really need is the pedal itself, but you'd have to modify the stock brake pedal to fit. you can't use the entire assembly, the 69 and 70 pedal hanger brackets are different. you might be able to just use both pedals on the stock hanger assembly

Hanger assembly slightly different, pics

dbdrag,
Check out the photos and descriptions here - the front part of the assembly mount is wider, but can be made to fit I'm sure - perhaps holes need to be made in different places?:

alternately, although I'm not 100% clear if all parts will swap, you could just keep your '69 mount and move over the clutch and brake pedals and use whichever bushings are in the best shape. If only the clutch pedal will swap over, just hack off part of your brake pedal. If the holes in your '69 pedal mount are ovalized, cracked, or otherwise in bad shape, do the Mustang Steve roller pedal bearing conversion. I will eventually do this to mine:
