Got a new clutch installed yesterday and now the clutch pedal is vibrating when engaged. If I apply a little pressure with my foot it goes away. Guy that installed it said to drive it for a couple days and see if it goes away but I think the problem lies deeper than that, and it is driving me nuts. Ultimately I am going to bring it back to him in a day or so I just wanted to know if you guys knew of anything I could tell him. So Can anybody help me and explain why the pedal is now loose?

Thanks!

i would guess that the fingures on the pressure plate might be bent

It's not adjusted properly. The release bearing is touching the pressure plate all the time. The bearing will wear out very quickly if you wait for this to go away.

You have preloaded the throwout bearing. Back off the adjustment for the cable so you have some freeplay before the thor out bearing touches the clutch.
