I just got my clutch pedal setup in the mail. I've never had one out of a car before so I dont know if theres something wrong with mine or not. When I press the clutch pedal in it snaps to the floor and takes some muscle to get back to the original position. Is this normal or did the guy screw me? Any help would be great, thanks.

That isn't normal, it should take some effort to get it to the floor but should push back with out any effort. Before you connected it did the pedal move freely?

Do you have the linkage hooked up to the tranny? The linkage is supposed to push the pedal back up when connected to the tranny - if not then the pedal will snap to the floor and stay there like you say.

Sounds pretty normal to me with the big, over center spring hooked up. The spring helps the pedal to the floor to ease pedal pressure and also helps it back up, once its beyond the center of travel. It won't act this way with a clutch hooked up to it.
