i got my car all back together and running and everything from the 5spd swap but i ran into a problem.last night when i went to move it,i pushed the clutch in and the car jumped forward.so i adjusted the cable more.i have a steeda cable, bbk quadrant and no firewall adj.get in,same thing not as bad.readjust again.this time it goes in gear hard and the car still wants to move forward with the clutch all the way to the floor.so pretty much its like the clutch isnt fully disengaging and i have pretty much every ounce of adjustment possible on the cable.i cant get anymore and the cable has a lot of tension on it.what could be causing this.you can't drive the car without rev matching or it will not go into gear and its deff not the trans.

I would look to see how you installed the throw out bearing. Perhaps its in the spot and you lost a bunch of travel there? Is the cable new? Perhaps it stretched?

did you adjust the cable all the way? nevermind, before you go and yank the tras out. have someone take a look see and check the fork for movement. I know steeda cables dont work to well with bbk quadrants. Thats what im going through now,.

glad you found the issue. I'll file that info just in case I ever get a spec pressure plate.
