well i just recently bought a 93 mustang gt that runs good had a clutch cable problem so i just bought an OEM replacement clutch cable. well i got into installing the new cable, ok all good, got under the steering column went to put the new cable on the quadrant and boom it falls off, turns out the old quadrant didnt have a clip in place. might be the reason for 2 cables going bad.

my question is there any easy way to put the quadrant back on its still in good shape. also if anyone has a diagram or picture of what it should look like that would be appreciated.

You must have an aftermarket quadrant, right?

There are only two holes. And the cable routes over the top of the quadrant, with the cable's ferrule attaching to the quadrant towards the rear of the vehicle.
