i purchased the upr clutch kit and after doing some reading on here should i use the new quadrant and adjustable clutch cable that it comes with or should i use the existing one that is in there which is the oem one but i dont know how to check if its good. or should i just order a new oem clutch cable since everything else is new. thanks in advance for any help

if its one of those adjustable cables that have the screw on ends throw it i nthe trash or use it as an emergency backup. they are crap. the threads will strip and it will fail. a oem cable is your best option. and if you need adjustablity use the new quadrant and a firewall adjuster.

adjustable cables are garbage, as are most aftermarket non adjustables. If you can, get a true OEM cable. I used a stock cable with a billet quadrant and upr firewall adjuster and it worked great

do i need an adjuster or can i just get the oem cable and upr quadrant and use it with the king cobra i bought. if so which hhok on the upr since its a 3 hook design or should i fet a single hook?

yes you can use the stock cable with your 3 hook quadrant and the clutch you have makes no difference. use whichever hook gives you the best amount of tension...that will be a trial and error kind of install.
