ok...i am new to this site and hope it turns out very helpful...i just acquired a 95 5.0 GT 5spd...
i have 2 questions regarding my new car...i think i have them down to clutch problems and a shock...please...correct me if i am wrong...
for the first question...
i have a vibration that appears around 3500 and up...feels like it is coming from the rear end...espeacially if it breaks traction in a left hand turn...feels alot like wheel hop...even in a straight line...past 3500 there is a prominent vibration even felt through the shifter...i think it might have something to do with the shock/damper that bolts from the rear axle housing to the subframe/chassis...that horizontal shock that you can see through the rear wheel...i believe that its the right one...
for question number 2...
in high rpms...over 3500...my shifter likes to kick out of gear in 2nd...i think its because my clutch isnt wanting to hold at high rpms...its kinda tricky to get it to bite...
please someone point me in the right direction even if i am completely wrong...
