Clutch Removal

I have a 99GT with 165,000 miles on it. Decided to change the clutch this morning and of course I ran into a problem. The exhaust manifold bolts that hold the midpipe on are a lil rusty. I sprayed them with PB and am patiently waiting, already tried impact and a foot breaker bar, bout to go find a biger bar. Anyone else run into this problem. My 300zx was the same way so I left the exhaust up and did the job around it, hoping I dont have to do it like that again. Thanks Kevin

Just give the PB time to work and take your time you will get it.

I would just cut them off. Exhaust bolts aren't really reusable.

Just got all of them off, It looks like the starter will be the next pain in the butt, that will wait till tom. After the starter everything else looks strait and easier to get too. Thanks Kevin
