I'm looking at getting a clutch for the Mustang and there are plenty of clutch kits raning from 125-350. I will probably not break 350hp, with the setup I have. Will stock replacement kits for a 5.0 Fox be able to handle this? Is it worth it to step up to "Performance" kits? It will be a street driver but I would like to see some dragstrip usage out of it(this will be the expception not the rule). I want to get a good clutch that will last because I don't want to pull out what I put in if it will just slip when I get on it. Any suggestions would be great.
) Regardless, I've never had a problem during that time and the performane has been outstanding.
A lot of what they have in their catalog are O.E. parts that were used on the production line. One added benefit to the Dual Friction clutch is reduced pedal effort. Mine is about half of what it was with the 94-95 Stang HD clutch I had before.
