I got my clutch and flywheel out. Clutch disc definitely needs replacement. I have a new spec 2 clutch disc and a Ford Racing billet steel flywheel ready to go in. The previous owner gave me the spec 2 clutch disc and said I should install it with the current king cobra set up. On the pressure plate it reads LuK LC0048. From my understanding LuK makes a huge majority of the clutches on the market. The one I have is supposed to be a king cobra.

My question / concerns:
1.Is it a waste of time just replacing the clutch disc?

2. Would I be better off buying a new pressure plate while I have it all apart?

3.If I should just go new, any recommendations for a Mustang with 420rwhp / 400tq that's used for spirited street driving?

Oh, I should mention its a 90 Mustang with a S-Trim, 373 gears and Nitto DR's

Here are some pics of the pressure plate:

I Would get a new pressure plate along with tthe clutch disc as its cheap insurance that I wouldnt have to tear everything apart again later. The pics look ok, couple of hot spots and the fingers dont appear to have much wear. might could get away with it. Honestly I would put the old clutch and pressure plate up for sale on Craigslist.
