Clutch ?

Hi Guys,
The problem i have been having, is that sometimes when i let out the clutch pedal, i get this loud creeking/sqeaking noise...(this only happens sometimes)...I have a Steeda quadrant/adjustable cable/firewall adjuster...Is this a clutch issue or something with the cable??...Anyone have any ideas??...thanx

does it sound like it is coming from the bell/trans area or inside the cockpit? it the latter, i would check the pedal bushings (they are delrin, IIRC) and cable alignment from the quadrant to the firewall. a light lubing might help or help with diagnostics.
