Every brand has people who dont like it. And oddly enough this site is like the only one that gives spec a bad name....everywhere else has good things about it. I went with spec because it had the least complaints accross the internet...and im 100% happy with my spec stg 3

I was thinking about going with Spec because alot of people rave about them. The shop where I get my work done said they installed three identical clutches on three mustangs and the clutch feel was different on each car. They aren't big on Spec. They are the only shop I trust with my car so I go with thier suggestions.

You might have something wrong then because I can chirp mine going 2-3 not to mention the 1-2 shift. Mine still has the stock clutch and 48K miles.

My stock clutch FTW LOL... Spec stg 3 and stg 3+ are both great clutches, more people seem to have problems with the stg 1's and 2's (especially 2's).

I have a centerforce dual friction...beat it up at the track all the time, no probs at all....on the street it hasnt changed anything in the driveability...it hits harder for sure, but as for pedal feel, its pretty much the same....plus, it's complimented with an aluminum driveshaft and a tri-ax shifter...something to think about..
