Cms stage 1 cams arrived today

just got my cams today and i was impressed by the packaging , its clean and nice , it came pre-oiled and wrapped so it wouldnt leak out , here is few pictures , sorry for the crappy image quality





dyno coming right after i get the cams in , how much do you think i will be putting down with cams , plenum + tb on a auto

Edit : just noticed that the cams specs are few digits different from whats on the website but its not by a big margen

sweet, the cams i wil be running, (powerheads stage 2 regrinds) have almost the identical specs as cms stage 1's

post the dyno #'s when you get them......

i am going schedule a install date tonight so it wont be long till its in , tuning it would be a problem since people here have awful tuners so might aswell settle for a mail tune for my car.

well on their website it says:

540/550 lift, 224/226 .050" duration, 110 LSA

on the camshaft card it reads.

542/551 lift , 224/226 .050" duration, 110.5 Lsa

i cant wait to hear it myself , although with only cats delete , i dont think its going to sound that good , my car is just too quite.

yeah my regrinds are 540/540lift, 225/230 @ .050 duration, and i cant remember the lsa

there gonna sound sweeeeet!!!!

if you mean me, yeah, there NOT in yet, i am im the middle of a full rebuild, with p&p heads, cams, lts, and alot of other s**t........

right now, its just a bolt on npi with stock pi cams & intake.......

i am sure he was referring to me asking how much would i be putting down on the wheels since i asked in main thread

yeah but you should have alot more then 220rwhp, id say 240-250, 220 is way too low for a pi motor with cams even through an auto.......

With your mods - if you're not making at least 255rwhp with Stage 1 cams on a PI motor then you need to go to a different tuner. Get some steeda UDP's, a midpipe, and an air intake and you should be in the 270's I would think.

o... i wont be so worried about my hp to be honest.. i already got it covered

i plan on spraying with in the next year or so.....

likewise , i am waiting for my stage II patriot heads to start spraying tho , no use putting the kit on then take it off one month from now , i am starting to get serious modding my car , i had it for 4 years (almost 5) and i think its time i show it some love.

my goal is to have a decent street car... 400 rwhp.... just enough to make those 16 year old kids in their 05's get off my back
