I was considering puting the Cobra 10th Aniversary red calipers and 13" rotors on the front of my 2002 GT. My question is will they fit inside my wheels? I have chrome Bullits in 17x9 in the front. I know that 17" wheels are the minimum recomended by Ford for this upgrade. But caliper clearance looks really questionable. Will those rotors and calipers fit in those specific wheels?
Thanks

I have my stock rims (17X9) with the upgrade and I have no problems. It looks awsome. They fill up the wheel real nice.

If you are stock, the wheels are 17x8.

Cobras 96-98 and 99, 01-02 comes stock with 17x8 also so you will have no problem fitting those brakes.

Yes, The Wheels Will Fit, However Your Spare Will Not!! You Will Have To Buy A Cobra Spare At$225.00 Or Carry A Spacer To Pull The Spare Out From The Caliper. wHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT BUY THE cOBRA KIT FROM SPEED CONCEPTS!! i COULD GO ON FOR HOURS WITH THE REASONS WHY!!

could you just go to the local parts store, get some Cobra calipers, rotors, and pads and slap them on? Because if so I work at advance auto parts and it would only coast me like $150 to get everything. Will it work?

You'll need the caliper mounting brackets too. They are different than the stock GT ones.

I don't know the absolute lowest place, but I will STRONGLY recommend GEFRacing!! Seems like they are delivered before you even order them, They are fast to ship!! Again DO NOT order from Speed Concepts if you need them this century. Their cust. service BLOWS!!! Around $400.00 is what you are going to pay. Anything less I would say is suspect. Just my .02

You would also need the brake lines on '94-98 cars.

By calipers, make sure you get the loaded calipers that come with the mounting bracket. You'll need that. Your caliper needs to look like this before you can install
