Have you ever heard of guys using the 7.5 axles before? I just swapped a 5.0 into a 3.8 car and it has the 7.5 rear. (pretty gay not to mention weak) But some one told me you can use the axles in the fox rear, but you have to cut the axles by 3/4 of an inch and regrove the c clips. The only reason i am concidering to do this is to cut the costs down since i was already given the housing and a set of 3.55's. Then i can throw a rebuild at it and use the 7.5 axels (mechined by my bro at the mechine shop), and i to wanted to do the cobra brake conversion to the whole car. I just hope the thing hold together for a while. But before i go through all the work i was just wondering if this is the best route to go.
