cobra bumper on a coupe

anyone got any pictures of this set up with no side skirts on it? thinking about doing a cobra rear on the race car but havent seen how it looks with out a side skirt on it

with no side skirts I think it would look... not right. It wouldn't match up.

well right now we have a snowplow front end on it which is throwing the lines off a bit in the front end. and the back end needs some sheet metal repaired from when we ran a slick so the cobra bumper we think would cover it up and allow us still to have the ground clearance we have with an LX bumper just incase we start to ride wheelies again

I'd sat leave it alone. It will look a lot better when its all painted.

only issue with that is the rear bumper was melted from a fire we had a few years ago and the lower sheet metal was cut to run the 28x10.50W's back in the day. so that would need fixed also.

back when it was just an 8.50 car that ran a "smidge" faster then 8.50

The molding lines won't match. Also, the sides of the LX kinda tuck inwards, but the cobra rear bumper does drop straight down. It's almost like how the front bumper has a bit of a flare out ahead of the front wheel, but the body after the wheel is tucked in.

Granted...90% of people will never notice our nitpicking

Yea that's our biggest worry is how it won't match up with the body lines
