if i buy a 01 cobra bumper, will it be lower than the stock gt bumper, or will it blend in with the rest of the pieces? i am also wondering the same thing for the 03 cobra side skirts. also, i'm looking at buying the bumper from fordparts.com, if i do, would i need to get all of the parts, or could i just get the bumper cover and reuse the parts from my old bumper?

well i have a v6 and just stuck an 03 cobra bumper on it, the cobra should be lower then a gt's, if u buy the bumper from ford, then yea it should fit right on, they have two brackets, one on each side holding the bumper onto the car, what i did was just drilled out the rivets off of my v6 one, and with lil bolts, bolted the brackets to the new one..the holes are already in the new ones ( most of the time) but u could just rivet it back , but i didnt have any or a gun, but yes, it should be lower as well as it wont need all the parts, you can reuse the brackets from the old pumper
