Im looking to do the Cobra caliper swap on my car. Aside from the actual caliper/pads/rotors, what's needed to complete the swap? Will the Cobra brackets mount to the car? Thanks.
Oh, before suggesting i buy the "kit", i sell auto parts and can buy everything seperate. However i dont have a crash book that lists a Cobra, so i cant check Ford part numbers on the calipers/brackets and match them to the GT.... if that makes sense.
Brackets should fit. You will also want banjo bolts to fit the new calipers (may be a different size than what you have on your current calipers, coarse vs. fine thread). I also recommend stainless steel braided lines too.

are you just doing the front brakes? If your doing the rears as well youll need the kit from FR for the rear calipers. As far as front you need cobra banjo fittings, cobra front brakes lines, PBR calipers and pads
I wanted the Black Cobra calipers for my Black 2002 GT, but had to go with Red Cobra ones because the black ones were sold out. Must be a hot seller as I see the price for the calipers alone is $339 - holy crap. But only $189 for the Bullitt calipers..? (Maybe they didn't sell very well, but jeez that's $150 difference and they are essentially the same calipers!)
