Well I finally scored a Cobra nose, in Rio Red none the less... :D Been waiting for awhile to score one and this one came along...I bought some Blue Oval fogs off off Ebay to go with it...
I got some FMS chrome Cobra Rs with tires due in tommorrow to boot....315s on the rears...Have to see how thats gonna work out, but it was a sweet deal for the package and the money was right....

Anyone care to give the short story on what has to be done for the bumper swap.??

Thanks...

remove plastic rivits from top of bumper under hood. you can use a small nail to pop the center through and then pull them out. there are 2 screws in each wheel well that need to be removed. then 2 bolts inside the fenders. finally 3 more plastic rivits holding it to the core support underneath. then you just kinda have to muscle it out from under the headlights (no removing them doesnt really help much). once you get it out there are 2 rivits on each side of the top that will need to be drilled and move the metal brackets over to your new bumper unless it already has them on there. installation is reverse of removal lmao...what kind of deal did you get on yours?

Sweet...thats what i was after, Thanks... :nice: Its an Ford/OEM pc and the paints pretty much mint...i ended up like 370.00 shipped...the shipping was killer at 120.00. :nonono: Still have to get a hood tho, going HO Fibertrends for that...got a bud at a speed shop tring to get it thru him to maybe save some $$$...either way...shipping is killer...i spent 210.00 this week alone on shipping the bumper and tires and wheels.....you wanna play, you gotta pay... :D
Got a whole pile of stuff to add on...I gotta get motivated here, real quick...

yeah man, what kind of wheels did you take off of the car. i thought they were cobras. yeah you are starting to get quite a pile of parts laying around there, aren't you. i wanna see how that cobra intake looks etc. once it's all tied together.

Ya, i hear you on the dress-up stuff...i got the stuff to finish to motor...I been wanting some outside stuff for awhile....

Jason...Im taking off 98 Cobras....The tubing should be here this week to make the CAI...i need to finish that so I can send the Maf for recal for 24s...drop in the MSD and the motor work is done....

Im kinda going for this look...It been done um-teen times...but i still like it, its like all Ford so to say...Minus these wheels...I may even add the SVO pipes...i kinda like the look, wont hook em up tho....???

Jason..The shipping on my wheel/tires mounted was only 84.00 from NC. so thats not all that bad....I would rather sell em as is....tires and all..Not a scratch or chip on em, look like the day I got em......

Paul...sucks waiting..I know... :(

why are there tailpipes on that car and side pipes? i did the cobra front bumper swap and the tabs under the headlights gave me problems, they didnt want to pop out, but finally with alot of prying they did an now it looks sweet.

that car looks awesome, but i think that it is completely stupid to have side pipes and tailpipes. WTF!!!!!!!!! at least dump the exhaust if you don't want to use the side pipes.

p.s. if i would have saw that bumper, i would have bought it in a sec.
