Got it on tonite....Paint is a perfect match....The fogs I bought off Ebay from Blue Oval Industries dont fit for jack though..the holes in the brackets are like 7/8" out of position...Glad I didn't buy the headlights to match these.... Figures I'd try the fogs first, and they don't fit, atleast not to my thinking....and this is an OEM nose to boot...there's something to be said for buying Ford parts...they're $$$$, but atleast they fit....The fogs cost me 118.00, so they weren't exactly cheap....

GTPheak...Those clips under the headlights were a P.I.T.A...

Congrats on the score! Looks nice! I bought a repro Cobra cover and it fit like a glove. It's nice to see you saved some cash by avoiding a paint booth. Enjoy.

No doubt. I actually pulled one headlight just to see what hte deal was and it was no easier to pull out..

As far as foglights...my fogs sit way deeper in the bumper (further back) than i have seen on actual cobras. and they are the oem lights. odd

yes these are back to...but the freakin things are slammed to one side and have a 3/4" gap on the other...looks like chit...
The holes in the brackets dont allow for any alignment, side to side or up/down..

Back from the dead. I love the search function, lol.

Andy, did you ever get your fogs to line up right?

I found out today that the GT & Cobra brackets on the passenger side are slightly different. The holes in them are just slightly off for some reason. I'm not looking forward to doing this .... but it'll be worth it once I get everything on. I just put my new B.O.I. smoked lights in & it already looks like a different car!

Andy it's very simple to put it on. LOL, I just bought a set of 18" chrome Cobra R's and they're going on Tuesday.
What size did you get, 17's?
