Does anyone know what type of wrench or tool it takes to change the grill insert(mustang to a cobra one)? It looks like a torx bit only with a raised portion in the middle. Is this a special ford tool? I haven't been able to find out what it will take to remove it yet. What do I need? Thanks.

You can get one at a specialty tool store.Or you can pay for a 35 dollar kit with a bunch of diffrent sizes in it.I just got a small drill but and drilled the bump down enough to get the screws out. Use the search......There are tons of threads on this.

Yes, you need T-25 TAMPER PROOF (aka: SECURITY) TORX BIT.

Kit at Advanced auto

I found a kit with about 6 different sizes including the one you want at Advance Auto in a small town for about $9.
