Ok, I've heard that gt40 intakes flow better than cobra's but I have a cobra, that is yet to be installed, that has the lower intake ported. Can the gt40 upper be bolted to a cobra lower? I would like to keep the lower because the ports are bigger than on the gt40, Its just that the upper wouldn't flow as good as the gt40.Also does anyone know how I can find out how much it has been ported? Thanks for any help.

GT-40 and CObra Intake use the exact same lower.

Advantages are the GT-40 upper is 8 pounds lighter, but the Cobra upper can be extrude honed/ported since it's a cast peice.

He means the ports on his cobra are bigger b/c it's ported.

To answer your question, yes, the GT-40 will bolt up to your Cobra manifold. Unless you're keeping the Cobra unported, I'd get a GT40 upper if you can. But a ported Cobra upper will make more power. If it were me, I'd find a GT40 upper. I doubt it will make a noticable difference, though. It does look better and is lighter.

Thanks. I'll get a gt40 if I can.The cobra, as of now, is unpainted. It was an ugly flat black so I stripped it. Do you have any recomendations as to where I can get just a gt40 upper?
